Our story

If there is anything that links Dutch Originals and De Batavia it is Dutch pride. For Dutch Originals, Douwe Egberts travelled all the way to the high mountains of Central and South America in a search for the tastiest coffee beans and two tough Dutch sailors unabashedly embarked on what turned out to be a fateful voyage on De Batavia. The world-famous and infamous VOC ship after which Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet is named. Proud of our Dutch roots, that is exactly what we want to convey here at Dutch Originals. A complete experience with plenty of attention to pure and tasty ingredients in collaboration with strong Dutch brands. In a place that inspires, where you can relax and enjoy all those typically Dutch dishes such as the perfect croquette, hearty pea soup or the most delicious poffertjes for the little ones.
