Our story

The very first Coffee Company opened its doors in 1996. CC Leidsestraat 60 was born from KoffieDick's love for coffee and Rick's love for the 'big city ritual' that he encountered in New York and London. In the following years, Coffeecompany conquered Amsterdam with locations such as Helst, Haarlemmerdijk, Doelenstraat and Beethovenstraat. Coffeecompany seduced a new generation of coffee fans with the versatility of coffee in a relaxed environment. There are now 37 branches in Amsterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Groningen, Leidschendam, Den Bosch, Rotterdam, Tilburg, Breda and Delft, and a roastery in Amsterdam. Each with a unique place nearby. With Coffeecompany, Dick was able to give substance to his personal belief that coffee beans are lumped together far too much and treated as an anonymous commodity on the futures market. Through direct contact with coffee farmers and paying prices that are related to quality, Coffeecompany can have unique coffee based on its own recipe. Coffeecompany has been part of Albron Nederland BV since July 2021.
