In the 1950s, KRUPS conquered the general public with new innovations for coffee and cooking. Two passions the brand has shared with epicureans from the very beginning. From the 1980s, KRUPS developed its expertise in coffee with espresso/coffee combos. KRUPS' Coffina Super was featured in the film Alien in 1979, and then in Back to the Future in 1985, where it was used as the Mr Fusion energy reactor, the forerunner of recycling! Later, the brand came out with breakfast accessories (kettle, milk frother, toaster, etc.) and kitchen machines(waffle iron, mixer, multifunctional food processor, etc.). Since 2012, Krups has also been producing automatic espresso machines with automatic cleaning for preparing your favourite cup of coffee in the comfort of your own home. Award winning designs with TÜV certification for safety, longevity and quality. Since 2021, also more conscious with the start of sales of Evidence Eco Design. The first fully automatic espresso machine with ecological design and 90% recyclable.
