Our story
Inspired by his many trips to the United States, Michaël Azoulay founded the French brand American Vintage in 2005. Instinctive and curious, he reinvigorated fashion by reinterpreting the essential garment: the T-shirt.
Year after year, the collections took shape and expanded. Their pure style with authentic lines invited wearers to reinvent themselves every day. The cuts are a nod to a casual wardrobe, while the nuanced colour palette ensures the brand's recognisable style. Minimalism meets modernity in timeless and absolutely free collections. The promise of a new, authentic and comfortable style.
The Marseille-based entrepreneur also built American Vintage's DNA with values he holds dear: appreciation for good work, attention to detail, a caring attitude, as well as sincerity and sharing.
Today, the American Vintage teams form a community of nearly 800 employees and 1,500 outlets worldwide.
