OUR STORY

Our adventure started about 10 years ago, in the kitchen of the first store in Aachen, Germany, with our own Sjakie: Chocolate Chef Toussaint. Here we started making real chocolate milk, trying a different flavor each time and then polishing the large hotpots again. Tous thought: “You must be able to come up with a single portion for that..”. And there it was! The Hotchocspoon, a tasty chunk of chocolate on a spoon that you stir into the hot milk. From then on, the tastiest flavors for these spoons were created, from Speculoos to Cookie-Coconut. Now available in more than 50 great different flavors! The Hotchocspoon remains the pride and favorite of the Chocolate Company, but our range has expanded considerably and in 2009 we even built our own chocolate factory in Kerkrade. We still make everything ourselves there every day, dozens of hands that put in the wooden spoons, neatly place decorations and sprinkle the chips. Craftsmanship, experience and a lot of energy flow through the studio. The chocolate will then be shipped from here to our cafés in the Netherlands and Germany or from the webshop directly to your mailbox!
