How The Legend Got Started
It is 1886, and the Lazzarini family sets up a shoemaker's workshop in Ascoli Piceno in Italy. Characteristic of Lazzarini's work are the flexibility and comfort he manages to impart to all the footwear he makes. The younger Lazzarini, Emidio, then takes up the family business in the fifties, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather.
